Chromed sleeve, bushings, and seals for firming arm’s pivot, JD 750 & 1850 drills (doesn’t fit the earliest 750s). Chromed steel sleeve is 69mm version for the 750s and 1850s. Note: The 50-series firming arm has the pin welded into it—you’ll need to cut this off of the arm and bore a hole in that spot for a 5/8″ bolt.

Grade 8 washer (special ID) and grade 8 special flange locknut (smooth underside; no serrations) for closing arm pivot point, JD 50/60/90 drill. Corresponding OEM parts are only grade 5, and wear out fairly quickly, which creates side-play and lets the spring for the closing arm pop out of its setting too easily.Use this to pull the bushings out with a large air hammer and compressor. Removal tool for the bushings of the front/main pin of JD 50/60/90 drill openers. Includes wire brush to clean out the dirt and rust. He supported research of no-till planting and other ag related projects for 7 years with Kansas State University’s Agricultural Engineering Department after getting his engineering degree. He later worked 3 years for Landoll Company, LLC. where he gained experience in a design engineering role. Jonathan grew up on a small family farm in NE Kansas working with row crops, hay and cattle.
