    Grade 8 washer (special ID) and grade 8 special flange locknut (smooth underside; no serrations) for closing arm pivot point, JD 50/60/90 drill. Corresponding OEM parts are only grade 5, and wear out fairly quickly, which creates side-play and lets the spring for the closing arm pop out of its setting too easily.

Orders will be fulfilled as soon as inventory becomes available. Main pivot kit with thrust washer and mounting hardware. Bushings and pin are hardened steel along with extended length for increased wear life. Pins include a recess on each end to aid removal and install with an air hammer.

Derek Tjaden

Derek is Kansas native who grew up in a 100% no-till farming operation. From an early age the benefits of no-till were made known to Derek by his father and by attending no-till conferences. From there he furthered his passion for soils while at Kansas State University getting his agronomy degree. He has had the experience of working in various roles and sectors of agriculture from sales and consulting to management, which have all been within production agriculture. Derek has also worked in specialty ag markets such as turf and ornamentals.
